Pride of the Paddock - 20 Cars to Celebrate 20 Years
Race Retro prides itself on the outstanding displays of iconic cars that hold such presence in motorsport history and we're excited to see the most diverse range of vehicles in the show history..
These cars may not have stood at the top of the podium in Formula 1 or the World Rally Championship, but to us, they cars are still winners. We like to give recognition to those competition and rally cars that are participating in grassroots motorsport and the Pride of the Paddock does just that.
Any car that has competed in a race or rally at any level is eligible to enter, along with high spec replicas of racing and rally cars from historic motorsport, every discipline of motorsport is covered in the line up. The finalists are hand-picked for their stunning exteriors, and sentimental stories - all of which have a great history.
Visitors are invited to vote for the best racing or rally car on show to determine the winner of the Reis Pride of the Paddock competition, awarded on the Sunday.

Voting
While the owners can engage and campaign with other entrants and visitors, any form of intimidation, cheating, derogatory remarks or bad-mouthing is not tolerated and those involved will be disqualified and asked to leave.
Votes will be counted and verified by Clarion Events Ltd and the organiser's decision is final. The car with the most visitor votes wins with trophies for the winner and runner up awarded on the final day of the show.
Competition Rules
Unlike other competitions, this is not a concours event. Whilst the standard of the car is still paramount, it’s the story the owner and the car have shared that will be taken into consideration when deciding who makes it onto the final centrepiece display. Modified and replica cars will be considered alongside their original counterparts.
A vehicle can only be entered once in a three-year period for the physical competition. Any online versions are open to previous entrants and finalists. An owner can enter one vehicle per year but it must be a different one each year.
Clarion Events will not contribute to any transportation or accommodation costs for entrants.
The competition is presented in the spirit of like-minded enthusiasts coming together to celebrate their vehicles. Entrants are asked to keep this in mind when submitting their application.
