Nick Padmore
Fans of historic motorsport will need little introduction to Nick Padmore. A Formula One Champion several times in the Masters’ series he has driven over 40 different historic Grand Prix cars in his career so far! He is the fastest driver ever to circulate round the Goodwood Motor Circuit. He broke the lap record with a time of 1min 18.2sec in a Lola T70 Spyder at the 73rd Members' Meeting in 2015. He then smashed that record during SpeedWeek, behind the wheel of a 1989 Arrows-Ford A11, where he stopped the clock at 1min 09.9sec, but that was from a standing start! He has a passionate interest in the history of our sport and loves to talk about races, racing drivers and their cars.
