Having been working in British motorsport from the late 1980s, Paul Jurd has carried out a range of roles including as a journalist, in public relations, media officer, circuit commentator and more. He has been media officer for series on the TOCA package, British Formula Three and British Formula Ford to name just a few, as well as writing race reports for Autosport and Motorsport News for many years.

Paul says that he has been hugely fortunate that motorsport has taken to him to so many places and has led to meeting so many great people through his work. Still involved in front-line and historic motorsport and with a busy 2024 season ahead, Paul is a joint founder of Historic Racing News and a podcast stalwart with a reputation for coming up with the less obvious topics and backing them up with a convincing argument as to why they are important!
